The Bearkat football team participated in a team building and problem solving exercise this week as the squad participated in the Sam Houston Army ROTC's obstacle course and leadership laboratory exercises.
The football players divided into teams for the obstacle courses and problem-solving exercises and ended the day with a paint ball competition.
"This is a valauble execise for the team," Sam Houston senior offensive lineman Travis Watson said. "It was cool. We really enjoyed the paint ball. Our guys can get pretty competitive. The obstacle courses were fun as well."
Head coach Willie Fritz and his staff joined with the University's Army ROTC department to put together this exercise in leadership and team-building for the squad.
