"Piney Woods" ticket renewal deadline extended

Now, those Bearkat fans who attended last year's "Battle" who have not yet ordered again for 2011 still have the opportunity to renew their same seats if they complete their order before the extended deadline of June 1.
By ordering now, you can assure yourself of the same great seats at Reliant Stadium. Also, fans who did not purchase last year can make their requests for tickets for this year's game.
No one who took part in the excitement of the "Battle of the Piney Woods" in 2010 will want to miss the action of this year's game on Saturday, October 8. To relive the excitement read 2010 Reliant Stadium spectacle story.
From the tailgate party in the parking lot, to the excitement of seeing more than 100 former Bearkat players welcome the team onto the field, to the solid sea orange making up one-half of Reliant's lower bowl and on through one of the most exciting Sam Houston vs. SFA games ever, the event was one to remember.
Renewal notices have been mailed to all who purchased tickets last year. With less than 2,000 seats remaining towards a lower bowl "sellout" for the 2011 game, demand for all seats will be high. Fans are urged to renew before the June 1st extended deadline to ensure sitting in the same seats.
Ticket customers may take advantage of Sam Houston's online ticketing service and renew your seats online with their personal login and password located on each invoice. Or fans may simply call the athletic ticket office at 936-294-1729 with any questions or orders.
Bearkat fans who did not purchase seats last year can make their requests for tickets for this year's game and pay for their tickets. These customers will not be assigned seating locations until after the renewal s are completed. But, this is a great way to assure purchase of the best available tickets for 2011. All Piney Woods tickets will be distributed later in the summer
Sam Houston student tickets are available once again for $5 through SHSU Athletics sponsored by Student Activities. A total of 1,200 tickets are available at the discounted rate in a premium sideline section. These seats are available to all students, new purchasers and those that purchased last year.
