One play after picking up a first down on a fake punt, Richard Sincere sprinted 32-yards to the end zone for the first tochdown of the game during last season's "Piney Woods" battle matching the Bearkats and the Lumberjacks.
Stephen F. Austin defeated Sam Houston State 31-28 last season before a crowd of 24,685 fans at Reliant Stadium. The crowd was the largest in the 85-year history of the rivalry and was the largest against a Football Championship Subdivision institution in both schools' histories.
