Boy Scouts Night Oct. 1

When Sam Houston plays host to UTSA in a 6 p.m. football game Saturday Oct. 1 it will be "Boy Scout Night" at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium.
The Boy Scouts of America will be saluted during the contest with their respective troups from the surrounding areas that are attending the game.
Boy Scouts will participate with the Sam Houston Army ROTC in the pregame flag raising ceremony.
Following the contest, the Boy Scouts will have an autograph session with the Bearkat players, then camp out overnight at Bowers Stadium.
The scouts will watch a movie and eat dinner and finish their overnight stay with a Sunday morning worship service presented by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
