Baylor Visits The Don Wednesday

Sam Houston State plays host to Baylor Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium.
The Bearkats will be out to avenge a 6-2 loss to Baylor in Waco on February 28.
Sam Houston stands 11-8 for the season while the Bears come into the contest with a 14-7 mark. The Bearkats are 8-3 at home in Don Sanders Stadium including a 2-0 record in mid-week non-conference contests.
Anthony Azar (.407) and Jake Arrington (.380) lead Sam Houston at the plate. The Bearkats are tied for first place in the Southland Conference with a 4-2 record after winning two-of-three games in their first two league weekend series against Stephen F. Austin and Nicholls State.
Baylor is led at the plate by Lawton Langford (.410) and Logan Vick (.338).
The Sam Houston versus Baylor matchup begins a six-game home stand at Don Sanders. Next Southland action for the Kats will be a three game series with Texas State beginning this Friday.
