Alumni Association Offers Charter Bus to BOTPW

The Sam Houston State University Alumni Association is sponsoring a charter bus to the "Battle of the Piney Woods" football game at Reliant Stadium in Houston Saturday, October 6th.
Kickoff for the annual Sam Houston vs. Stephen F. Austin rivalry game is 3 p.m. The bus will depart the Chemistry and Forensic Science Building parking lot (corner of Sam Houston Avenue and Bowers Drive) at 11:00 AM and return immediately following the game.
The cost for riding on the bus is $30 per person (does not include game ticket). Reservations are requested by October 4, 2012.

Crowds of more than 25,000 have packed the lower bowl at Reliant each of the past two years and tickets are going fast.
Battle of the Piney Woods Tickets are on sale through the university's athletic website. Fans also can purchase tickets at the Sam Houston athletic ticket office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House in the south end zone at Bowers Stadium or by calling ticket office at (936) 294-1729.
