Soccer Back At Pritchett This Friday

Sam Houston women's soccer action returns to a renovated Pritchett Field Friday night when the Bearkats open Southland Conference play in a 7 p.m. match against Nicholls State.
It's "Free Food Friday" at Pritchett Field with free McKenzie's BBQ for the first 100 students at the gate.
With the construction at Pritchett, the Bearkats have had to play their early season home matches at Intramural Field #3. But Friday their back at the site of the matches for the first nine years of the program.
Since August, refurbishing of the underground plumbing, draining and electrical systems has been underway.
With the Pritchett Field Artificial Turf Project, the old turf has been replaced with 87,119 feet of synthetic turf.
