DONATE TO BEARKAT CHAMPIONS FUND NOW
The Bearkat Champions Fund “Proud to be a Bearkat” Drive is going strong.
This week a new phase of the campaign began with a group of 17 Sam Houston students getting on the telephones at the University Advancement call center to contact Bearkats across the Southwest.
The phone effort is off to a tremendous start, giving the drive extra momentum heading into November.
The Bearkat Champions Fund is the sole fundraising arm for Sam Houston athletics.
The inaugural Bearkat Champions Fund began the last week of September with a mailing to more than 6,000 past donors, season ticket purchasers and select alumni.
The goal for the fund drive is to raise $500,000 to benefit all of the 350 student-athletes who represent Sam Houston on the playing field.
