Bearkat Win 10 Events At Twilight Meet

The Bearkats look ahead to the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships in Lake Charles, La., May 10-12 after completing their regular season schedule Thursday with the SHSU Twilight Meet.
Sam Houston men won six events Thursday including Charles White (48' 11.75”) in the triple jump, Matt Viverette (54.40) in the 400 hurdles, Rodney Jones (49.29) in the 400 meters, Clint Anders (1:56.46) in the 800 meters, Ryan Saam (15:30.46) in the 5000 meters and Treyvion White, Kristen Mitchell, Jarrick Wright and Leroy Harris (41.59) in the 4x100 relay.
Four women took first places Thursday night.
Bearkat winners were Nicole Jenrette (5' 5”) in the high jump, Kaylynne Wright (19' 3.25”) in the long jump, Jordan Grady (56.91) in the 400 meters and Danielle Demas (24.72) in the 200 meters.
