2013 Volleyball Golf Fundraiser Successful

The team of Billy Riemer, Joe Lind and Josh Fuchs won first place in the sixth annual Sam Houston Volleyball Golf Scramble.
Other prize winners include Garrett Sprott and John Coggin (Taste of Huntsville gift basket winners), Fuchs (longest drive) and Riemer (closest to the pin contest).
“The fundraiser was a great success and the volleyball program wants to thank all the sponsors, donors and volunteers putting in their time and efforts,” SHSU head coach Brenda Gray said. “We couldn't have done it without you all. A special thanks goes to the volleyball team and staff for all of their help prior to and during the tournament. Also, we would like to thank Raven Nest Golf Course and Aramark Dining Services for their assistance in putting on a great event.”
Mitcham Industries was the official sponsor of the event.
“We offer a big thanks to Bill & Debbie,” Gray added. “They continue to support us year in and year out. All of our hole sponsors are greatly appreciated.
