Carroll promoted to Asst. AD Operations

Ryan Carroll has been named as assistant athletic director for operations for Sam Houston State University.
Bearkat director of athletics Bobby Williams announced the promotion Tuesday. Carroll has served as the department's facilities coordinator since 2010.
“Ryan Carroll has been a tireless worker for our department and is extremely deserving of this promotion,” Williams said. “He had a positive impact on our game management and facilities operations.”
Carroll joined the Bearkat athletic staff in August, 2010 as the Bearkats' facilities coordinator.
He earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Texas A&M in 2006 and received his MBA degree from Sam Houston State in 2009.
While at Texas A&M, he served as an athletic assistant in the academics and tutored student-athletes.
As a graduate student at Sam Houston, he was as a graduate assistant to associate athletic director Greg Hinze working in game management and facilities.
