Football Pep Rally Friday at 7 p.m.

Sam Houston's Eastern Washington football weekend kicks off Friday at 7 p.m. with a giant pep rally at the Bearkat Plaza.
To get students, alumni and fans ready for the big showdown Saturday between No. 2 ranked EWU and No. 4 Sam Houston State, the Bearkat cheerleaders, Orange Pride, Sammy Bearkat and pep band all will perform.
There will be food and give-aways with music starting at 6:30 by DJ Chone.
Sam Houston President Dana Gibson, head coach Willie Fritz and the football team captains all will speak. Miss Sam Houston also will make an appearance.

Tickets for the Eastern Washington game are available now online at www.gobearkats.com . Fans also may purchase tickets at the SHSU athletic ticket office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House in the south end zone of Bowers Stadium.
Ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The ticket office telephone is (936) 294-1729.
Game day on Saturday, the West Side ticket office at Bowers Stadium will open at 10 a.m. Bearkat Alley tailgate begins at 12 noon. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m.
