During the past two-and-a-half years, Sam Houston State University has won two Southland Conference Commissioner's Cups, both a men's and women's Southland All-Sports Cup and 11 league titles.
To continue this amazing success the Bearkats need the financial help of Sam Houston alumni, fans and friends.
The Bearkat Champions Fund is the sole fundraising arm for the SHSU athletic department. The fund allows alumni, fans and friends the opportunity to show their support and provide each of SHSU student-athlete an opportunity for a quality academic and athletic experience through charitable contributions.
A minimum investment of $100 to the Bearkat Champions Fund each year earns individuals priority towards NCAA playoff games, premium road contests like next fall's football game at Texas Tech, Battle of the Piney Woods tickets, season ticket seating location, premium parking and invitation-only special events.
Situations in which high demand/low supply exists, Bearkat Champions are able to request such benefits which are then allocated through a priority system that can be viewed here. Season ticket holders have top priority in securing ticket opportunites and there may be situations in which all requests cannot be filled.
Supporters become part of the team by helping Sam Houston accomplish its goal of defining the term "student-athlete" while enjoying the benefits of being a Bearkat Champion!
