The Lumberjacks earned their 21st consecutive victory with a 67-60 Southland Conference men's basketball win over the Bearkats Saturday afternoon.
Jacob Parker led the Jacks with 20 points while Thomas Walkup and Nikola Gajic added 16 and 12 more, respectively.
Southland Conference leaders, SFA upped its league mark to 13-0. The Jacks stand 24-2 for the season. Sam Houston, the Southland's second place team, dropped to 18-7 for the year and 10-3 for league .
The Bearkats fell behind early and never led again after their first basket. SFA led 37-27 at intermission and built a 16 point lead 11 minutes into the second half. The Kats cut the margin to five in the final minute but could come no closer.
SFA hit 52 percent from the floor (12-of-23) in the first half and 43.2 percent for the game (19-of-44).
Dakarai Henderson scored eight points and Terrance Motely added seven for Sam Houston.
The Bearkats travel to Lamar next Saturday.
