Four Free Food Friday Soccer games announced

As part of a season-long promotion at Sam Houston State soccer matches every Friday home match is “Free Food Friday” at Pritchett Field. The first 100 students in attendance at the match receive free food from one of our sponsors.
The four remaining dates are September 12 against Utah State, September 19 against Abilene Christian, October 3against Northwestern State and October 31 against Houston Baptist.
Fans will be treated to a meal from one of Double Dave's Pizza, McKenzie's Barbecue, Pita Pit or Wing Stop.
The Kats return 10-of-11 starters from last year's team that made it to the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament. The squad is filled with upperclassmen, featuring six seniors and eight juniors while there are just four newcomers on this season's team.
Sam Houston was picked to finish third in in the Southland by the league's head coaches. Last season the Bearkats finished sixth but earned the fifth seed in the Southland Conference Tournament.
