SLC Basketball Tournament tickets on sale

With the Sam Houston State men's basketball team having clinched a bye into the semifinals of the 35th annual Southland Conference Tournament, minds are turning to in Katy in March for the event next week.
The winner of the Southland Tournament earns the league's automatic NCAA Division I national championship berth.
Beginning Wednesday, March 11, eight men's teams battle at the Leonard E. Merrell Center.
All-session booklets are now on sale for $60 and include a ticket to each session of the men's and women's tournament in Katy. Tickets can be purchased online at www.gobearkats.com or by calling the SHSU Athletic Ticket Office at 936 294-1729.
Single session tickets are $15 each in advance. All tickets purchased can be picked up at the Sam Houston State will call window at the Merrell Center.

Wednesday, March 11 - Opening Round
Game 1: No. 8 vs. No. 5 - 5 p.m.
Game 2: No. 7 vs. No. 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 12 - Quarterfinals
Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs. No. 4 - 5 p.m.
Game 4: Winner Game 2 vs. No. 3 - 7:30 p.m.
Friday, March 13 - Semifinals
