Spring Football Practice To Begin March 16

Spring football practice for Sam Houston State's defending Southland Conference championship team will begin on Monday, March 16.
The Bearkats will hold 14 practices leading up to the annual Orange-White spring game to be held Friday, April 10 at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium.
Head coach K. C. Keeler and his staff return 57 lettermen including nine starters back on offense, 10 on defense and three special team players for the 2015 season.
Sam Houston rolled up an 11-5 record last fall, riding an eight-game winning streak to reach the FCS playoff semifinals after post-season victories over three top 10 teams.
Spring practices will be held in the morning each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for each of the four weeks following spring break. Sam Houston's “Pro Day” has been set for Tuesday, March 3.
