Track success at Texas Invitational

Trevor Sealy was the runner-up in the hammer and the men's 4x100 relay placed third to highlight action for the Sam Houston men's track and field team at the Texas Invitational in Austin Saturday.
Sealy tossed the hammer 200 feet, two inches, just seven inches short of his collegiate career best.
The relay quartet of Simon Imagbe, Justin Jenkins, Rodney Jones and Demartie Allen combined for a time of 40.45, the third best time 4x100 time in school history.
Jaylen Johnson, Alex Gilreath, Jeffrey Moore and Jones combined for a time of 3:17.57 in the 4x400 relay to place fifth. Evan Arrambula placed fourth in the 1500 meters with a clocking of 3:57.71.
Logan Terry and Patrick Pitts ran times of 9:34.57 and 9:39.11 as the lone entrants in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
