Registration is still open but spaces are filling up fast for the second annual Bearkat Invitational Golf Tournament fundraiser presented by Streater-Smith Honda Nissan Friday, June 5, 2015 in Houston
The deadline to RSVP and secure your spot in the tournament is May 15.

Sterling Country Club at Houston National's award-wining golf course again will be the site of the event. One of the finest golf layouts in the Southwest with casual elegance, championship golf and Texas hospitality, Sterling Country Club was rated the #1 Houston course and Houston National the #6 course for 2012 by the USGA according to the Houston Business Journal
Entry fees for the tournament are individuals $300, foursomes $1,200, hole sponsors $500 and foursome & hole sponsor $1,500.
The Bearkat Invitational presented by Streater-Smith Honda Nissan is the sole golf outing hosted by the SHSU Athletic Department and supports all 17 sports. Money raised from the event is utilized to cover expenses associated with seasonal needs (for example, travel and equipment) for each team. More than 350 student-athletes represent Sam Houston State University on the field and in the arena.

Golf tournament caddies will be offering “SuperTickets” for $40 on the day of the tournament. These tickets include entry into all on-course contests (long drive, closest to the pin), 2 mulligans, and 2 mixed-drink tickets. At least one golfer who purchases a SuperTicket will walk away with a vacation while four will be selected for a chance to win $100,000.
Complimentary food and beverages will also be provided throughout the day of the event for all participants
