Texas A&M-Corpus Christi handed Sam Houston State a 6-0 loss in a Southland Conference women's tennis dual match Friday afternoon.
Doubles were not played first due to the threat of rain. Each of the singles matches were decided in straight sets as A&M-Corpus Christi upped its season record to 10-7.
Sam Houston will play host to the University of the Incarnate Word Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McAdams Tennis Center on campus
