DIRECTIONS TO THE COURSE
The Annual Bearkat Invitational Golf Tournament presented by Streater-Smith Honda Nissan is this Friday, June 5.
This year's tournament, being held again at Sterling Country Club at Houston National, is sold out and the support shown to our student-athletes through the event has been tremendous.
Special thanks go to Streater-Smith Honda Nissan for their support as the presenting sponsor for this year's tournament.
Important tournament notes for participants:
• Registration and breakfast Friday will begin at 8 am. Bags may be dropped off for delivery to participants' carts near the main entrance to the Country Club upon arrival.
• Players will have an opportunity to warm up on the driving range and mingle with SHSU coaches prior to the 10 am shotgun start for the four man scramble tournament.
• During the round of golf players will be provided with complimentary food and beverages.
• Following the fun day of golf, participants will be treated to a post-round meal and awards will be given out to the top three teams, as well as individual golfers.
• Golf tournament caddies will be offering “SuperTickets” for $40 on the day of the tournament. These tickets include entry into all on-course contests (long drive, closest to the pin), 2 mulligans, and 2 mixed-drink tickets.
• At least one golfer who purchases a SuperTicket will walk away with a vacation while four will be selected for a chance to win $100,000.
