Each week leading up to the 2015 Sam Houston State soccer season, we'll spotlight one of 10 seniors. As a unit, the class has helped vault the Kats into a consistent competitor in the Southland Conference. Last season, the Kats posted their highest win total in league play at 8-2 and took second. With nine starters and 15 letter winners returning in 2015, SHSU seeks its first conference title in program history.
Today's interview features senior Mariah Titus. As a junior, the Bedford native made 16 starts and logged 1,447 minutes. Titus led the Bearkats with four assists on the season and scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute against Prairie View A&M.
