Each week leading up to the 2015 Sam Houston State soccer season, we'll spotlight one of 10 seniors. As a unit, the class has helped vault the Kats into a consistent competitor in the Southland Conference. Last season, the Kats posted their highest win total in league play at 8-2 and took second. With nine starters and 15 letter winners returning in 2015, SHSU seeks its first conference title in program history.
Today's interview features senior Katie Ferrara. Last season, the Round Rock native played in 15 games and started 11. Ferrara logged 832 minutes and had 11 shots on goal while adding one assist.
Question: Who is your favorite soccer player?
Ferrara: Sydney Leroux
Question: What is your favorite soccer memory?
Ferrara: Being the leading scorer and getting second team all-conference my freshman year

Ferrara: Orange is the New Black or Criminal Minds

Ferrara: Italy

Ferrara: Being with my best friends all the time
