Volleyball Season Tickets On Sale Monday

Season tickets priced at $30 each go on sale Monday for the 2015 Sam Houston volleyball slate of 13 home matches.
Bearkat head coach Brenda Gray and her staff return nine letter winners from last year's squad that earned Sam Houston its eighth consecutive Southland Conference post-season berth with a third-place league finish.
The schedule begins Friday and Saturday, August 28-29, at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum when the Kats defend their championship at the annual Sam Houston Invitational tournament. Also participating in the event are Prairie View A&M, Tulane, UTSA and Montana State.
Sam Houston will take on Texas State on “Grow the Growl” night in a non-conference home match September 15.
Southland Conference encounters include Lamar (September 25), Nicholls (October 1), McNeese State (October 3), Central Arkansas (October 17), Stephen F. Austin (October 22), Northwestern State (October 24), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (November 12) and Houston Baptist (November 14).
Season volleyball tickets are on sale beginning Monday online at www.gobearkats.com . Fans also may purchase season tickets by visiting the Sam Houston athletic ticket office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House or by calling (936) 294-1729.
Single match tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children (ages 12 and younger). Sam Houston students and faculty-staff are admitted free with a valid Bearkat One ID.

Group tickets (10 or more individuals) are $3 and must be purchased in advance by contacting the athletic ticket office.
