Get to know senior Bearkat Colby Glover

Each week leading up to the 2015 Sam Houston State soccer season, we'll spotlight one of 10 seniors. As a unit, the class has helped vault the Kats into a consistent competitor in the Southland Conference. Last season, the Kats posted their highest win total in league play at 8-2-1 and took second. With nine starters and 15 letter winners returning in 2015, SHSU seeks its first conference title in program history.
Today's interview features senior Colby Glover. The senior has played in 16 matches during her Bearkat career helping bolster a strong Sam Houston defense. The Tulsa, Okla., product also helped lead Union High School to a pair of state runner-up finishes.

Glover: Per Mertesacker
Question: What is your favorite soccer memory?
Glover: Starting my first college game

Glover: House
Question: If you could visit anywhere, where would it be?
Glover: London
Question: What is your favorite thing about Sam Houston State?
Glover: How close everything is to each other. It's not too big or too small.
Question: If you didn't play soccer, what sport would you be playing?
Glover: No idea. I've only been interested in soccer since I started.

Glover: Listening to music

Glover: Hip-hop or dubstep

Glover: To be a leader in the back and have as many shutouts as possible.
