*All seating at NRG Stadium for the Battle of the Piney Woods will be Lower Level and will be RESERVED SEATING ONLY. There are a limited number of tickets (approx. 28,000) between the two schools for this game. Premium Midfield and Premium Sideline seats will sell out several weeks in advance, so purchase early to be able to select the best seats for this game. *All bearkat football season tickets will have a ticket to the Battle of the Piney Woods |
Game Day Information
The Sam Houston Box Office at NRG Stadium will be located at the Ford Gate and open four hours before kick off. Doors to enter the NRG Stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. All policies of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment as well as the Houston Texans will be strictly adhered to. If you have any questions concerning game operations at NRG Stadium please call their Customer Service phone number, 832-667-2000.
Parking
Parking is available in the Blue Lots for all Bearkat fans. The Sam Houston State Student Activities Tailgate will be located in Blue Lot 22. Please follow the "Sam Houston Parking This Way" signs once you exit the major thoroughfares surrounding Reliant Park. Bowers Stadium parking passes WILL NOT be honored at this game. Accessible Seating & Parking
Wheelchair accessible seating is available on the the 100 Level concourse area of NRG Stadium on both the home and away side of the stadium. Accessible seating is provided behind Sections 105, 112, and 110 in the Sam Houston seating areas. All accessible seats are RESERVED SEATING. Wheelchair access is located at the Ford Gate entrance of Budweiser Plaza via a ramp. Handicapped parking is available adjacent to the entrance to Budweiser Plaza by following the signs to the Sam Houston Parking area. Handicapped patrons will be required to pay the parking fee and will be directed toward the Handicapped Lot.
Children/Lap Seat Policy
Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket in NRG Stadium unless they will require their own seat. They must sit on the lap of a ticketed patron in the reserved areas if they are not ticketed.
Refunds, Exchanges or Cancellations
There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations on tickets ordered through the Bearkat Ticket Office unless we are unable to fill your order. Refunds will not be issued due to a time or date change, but the ticket will remain valid for the game if it is made up at a later time.
Will Call
Will call tickets can be picked up at the Sam Houston Will Call located just outside of Budweiser Plaza inside the Ford Gate (please look for the Sam Houston Will Call sign) on game day unless arrangements are made for pick up during the business week at the Ticket Office. Identification or an order confirmation page are required for all tickets picked up at will call.
Team Pass List
Player and Team guests may receive complimentary tickets if their name is included on the pass list for that day's game. Sam Houston Pass List tickets for the Battle of the Piney Woods can be picked up at the White Sam Houston tent located just inside the gates of the Budweiser Plaza. Please look for the "Sam Houston Team Pass List" sign. Please have a photo ID ready for each person receiving tickets on the pass list. Everyone in your party receiving pass list tickets must be present at the time of pick-up and each person must sign for their ticket.
