Top Guest Coaches Set For Elite Kat Camps

An outstanding group of quality coaches from top programs across the country will join the Sam Houston staff for the 2016 Elite Kat Football Camps, Bearkat head coach K. C. Keeler has announced.
Guest coaches from Oklahoma, Florida, UCLA, Utah, Duke, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Memphis and Arkansas State will headline the outstanding instructors at this summer's Bearkat satellite camps. The sessions will be held in four locations on three dates in May, June and July.
“The Elite Kat Football Camps will feature an all-star line-up of coaches this summer,” Keeler said. Kicker/punter coaches Micah Knorr and Jerome Helm will be present on all three camp dates.
The camps are open to all athletes entering ninth grade through 12 grades. Cost of the camp is $45 by mail or on-line. There is a $55 walk-up registration fee (no personal checks accepted). Check-in begins one hour prior to the start time for each camp. The camp session lasts approximately three hours.'

Sam Houston football is one of only three programs in the country to advance to the NCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs each of the past five years.
