Leading up to the 2016 Sam Houston State soccer season, we'll visit with the team's seven seniors. The unit seeks to add on to success from last season that included the program's first 10-win season and an appearance in the Southland Conference Tournament championship game.
In the sixth edition, we catch up with LaMirado, Calif., native Maddy Panozzo. The LaMiranda High School product enters her fourth year with the program already having made a major impact. Panozzo played in 18 matches a season ago, scoring the match-winning goal at Lamar. As a sophomore, she played in all 19 matches, ranking tied for second on the team with three assists one year after playing in 14 matches as a freshman.
