Kats roll out new team Twitter accounts

HUNTSVILLE – In order to maintain consistent branding and provide easy access for fans to follow their favorite teams, Sam Houston athletics has rolled out new Twitter handles for each sport entering the 2016-17 athletic year.
The athletic department maintains the use of @BearkatSports, the main account for all things Sam Houston sports. With 12,300 followers, the account has the biggest following in the Southland Conference and showcases coverage to all sports.
The changes will not affect those currently following any one of the accounts but instead will make identifying the official sports accounts with fewer issues. For unique content, behind-the-scenes access and more be sure to follow along with your favorite sports.
