Sam had no trouble in staking itself to a 1-0 advantage after doubles play as the No. 1 duo of Mila Milanovic and Carrie Casey rolled by Shaddae Findley and Neharika Rama 6-4 in the top spot in the lineup Fabienne Gettwart and Khee Yen Wee then teamed up to sweep past Timara Maxwell and Sydney Thomas, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles while Ema Barkovic and Diane Friedrichs took a 7-5 win over Tatiana Ruhl and Stacy Lackey in the No. 3 spot.
