Kats remain in second at PVU Invite

With 10 matches in the books, the Bearkat bowlers remained in second place at the PVU Invitational.

The Bearkats posted a 4-1 record on the day and have a 61-pin lead for the No. 2 seed in the bracket play on Sunday with one qualifying match remaining in the morning.

The Kats opened the day with a win against St. Francis (PA) and followed that up by beating North Carolina A&T. After a loss to SFA, the Kats closed out the day with wins over Arkansas State and PVU. They will play Fairleigh Dickenson in the morning before the seeding is determined for bracket play.

McKendree remains in the lead opening the gap over the Bearkats to 351 pins. SHSU holds a 61-pin lead over Maryland-Eastern Shore. Nebraska is 4^th, 246 pins back of the Kats.
