Hanna Alberto wins again

Hanna Alberto won her second tournament of the season on Tuesday, taking top honors at the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.

Alberto shot her best round of the tournament on Tuesday, firing a 2-under par round of 70 and won the individual title by three strokes. She started her day with a bogey on her fourth and sixth holes. But she closed with four birdies over her final 12 holes including her last to seal the title.

As a team the Bearkats took second place to the hosts North Florida. The Kats shot a 298 on the final day and held off challenges from Chattanooga and South Alabama to take home the runner up trophy.

Jennifer Herbst overcame an opening round 81 to shoot a 71 on Tuesday and move into the top 10 on the leaderboard. He run started with an eagle on No. 14 and closed the round playing her final six holes at 5-under.

The tournament title for Alberto is a school-record ninth of her career.
