NACOGDOCHES — Sam Houston dropped its regular-season finale 2-1 against Stephen F. Austin at SFA Soccer Field on Sunday.
The Bearkats (5-5-1) will be the No. 7 seed in the Southland Conference Tournament, which will be played Tuesday through Saturday in Beaumont. Sam Houston will face second-seeded Lamar on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Grace Stine put the Bearkats on top with a goal in the 20
th minute. Sam Houston had two other chances to score on a pair of penalty kicks but failed to convert both attempts.
The Ladyjacks scored two second-half goals to claim the victory.
The match was orginally set for Friday. The Bearkats and SFA played the majority of the game, but it was canceled late in the second half due to inclement weather with the Ladyjacks leading 2-1. Officials made the decision to replay the entire match Sunday.
