Fall 2021 season tickets on sale

HUNTSVILLE – With the Sam Houston football team set to enter the FCS Playoffs for the first time since 2017, Bearkat Athletics made season tickets available for the upcoming 2021 fall season on Wednesday.

The Bearkats have five games scheduled for Bowers Stadium in 2021, its first season as part of the WAC. For one season the Kats will be part of the WAC/ASUN Challenge featuring seven teams departing for the newly-formed football leagues that will allow for an automatic qualifier into the FCS Playoffs.

Joining forces with the teams joining the ASUN allows for a unique 2021 schedule that features a pair of first-time opponents – Dixie State and Eastern Kentucky – making a trip to Bowers Stadium, along with perennial FCS power Jacksonville State.

The Kats will also host one of the Ohio Valley Conference's strongest teams, Southeast Missouri, as well as longtime league rival Lamar.

Fans will have the ability to purchase the 5-game ticket packages by visiting GoBearkats.com/tickets or by calling the Bearkat Ticket Office at 936-294-1729.

Available purchases include midfield chairback seats ($306), redzone chairbacks ($248) and bleacher reserved ($121). Seat allocation for new season ticket purchases will take place shortly after the season ticket renewal deadline has passed and pricing for chairbacks includes a donation to the Bearkat Champions Fund.

Renewal invoices will be mailed out shortly to anyone who held season tickets entering the Fall 2020 season and accounts with credits from payments made toward the Fall 2020 season will have their credit automatically added to the amount due.

All previous season ticket locations will be returned unless social distancing measures are still in place when the Fall 2021 season begins. If social distancing measures are still in place, season ticket holders will be reseated based on current donor standing in the Bearkat Champions Fund.
