WAC announces 2021-22 Academic All-WAC honorees for Fall and Winter

DENVER – The Western Athletic Conference today announced the 2021-22 Academic All-WAC honorees for fall and winter sports and a total of 1,534 student-athletes across 12 sports were honored.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
Grand Canyon led the way with 103 honorees. Utah Valley was second with 97 honorees and Seattle U was third with 93.
Of the fall sports, women's soccer had the most honored with 144. Winter sports were led by women's indoor track and field, which had 135 honored.
