The football schedule for 2023 is now complete with the announcement of Kennesaw State as the 12^thopponent for the Bearkats in their first season playing FBS football.
 
Kennesaw State will visit Bowers Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 4 with a kickoff time to be determined. Kennesaw State is also beginning the transition to FBS football and will be members of Conference USA starting in 2024. 
 
"Any time you can add a home game to the schedule is always an advantage," said head coach K.C. Keeler. "But this is an important game for us because we are also adding a future conference opponent as well. It is a team we are going to be seeing every year, so this will give us a jump start on getting familiar with their program."
 
The Owls will make their second visit to Huntsville, having previously played in the 2017 quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs. The Kats held off a late rally to win 34-27 and advance to their third semifinal in four years.
 
With the schedule now complete, the Bearkats will play six home games, including five at Bowers Stadium and one at NRG Stadium. Renewals for current season ticket holders will go out in February with new season tickets available for purchase in April.
