DALLAS — Conference USA has released its broadcast schedule for the 2024 football season, the league office announced on Thursday.
Sam Houston will be featured in 12 national broadcasts across the CBS Sports Network and ESPN channels. The Bearkats will have six traditional linear broadcasts and six matchups featured on the ESPN digital platform.
The majority of these games will take place on Saturday. However, the 2024 season also includes a return to the Weekday CUSA model, primarily during the month of October, with CBS Sports Network carrying 10 games and ESPN carrying nine this season during that timeframe on linear networks ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.
All broadcasts that are designated as ESPN Platforms are subject to the 12-day selection window and all kick times are subject to change based upon television placement.
Sam Houston has four games right out of the gate on ESPN+. The Kats will travel to Orlando to battle UCF at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 7, host Hawaii at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14, New Mexico State at 6 on Sept. 21 and will welcome Texas State at NRG Stadium at 2 p.m. on Sept. 28.

Sam Houston has back-to-back games broadcast on ESPNU. The first is on Oct. 22 at FIU at 6:30 p.m. followed by a home contest against Louisiana Tech at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29.
The Kats will play at Kennesaw State on one of the ESPN platforms at 2 p.m. on Nov. 16. Sam Houston closes the season with a pair of CBS Sports Network games at Jax State at 11 a.m. on Nov. 23 and Liberty comes to Huntsville on Nov. 29 for a 2:30 p.m. kick.
The 2024 CUSA Championship game on Dec. 6 will air on CBS Sports Network and kick off at 7 p.m.
CUSA games will also be made available through the ACC Network and SEC Network as part of other conferences' television agreements. Additional games will continue to be added to the schedule this fall as part of these agreements across other networks.
