"We've had ladies go on to do amazing things from the medical world to Ivy League schools, and it's a testament to our university curriculum as well as the ladies' hard work in the classroom. To add six more this year is a great accomplishment and of those six, four of them had 4.0 GPAs this spring."
The Bearkats now have 57 NTCA All-Academic Scholar Athletes in the program's 14 seasons.
The NTCA recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom throughout the academic year. This year there are 364 honorees, representing NCAA bowling programs at 75 schools.
A student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year to qualify for this award.
