HUNTSVILLE — Down 2-0 early, Sam Houston could have thrown in the towel Friday evening at Pritchett Field.
That wasn't an option for the Bearkats.
Sam Houston rallied with four unanswered goals to put away Houston Christian for a 4-2 victory to improve to 2-0-1 on the season. This is the Bearkats' best start since going 2-0 to open the 2015 season.

Gabrielle Williams followed with an impressive goal of her own as she ran to her bench and celebrated with her teammates. The equalizer was her second of the season.
Townsend took over from there. The Kats' leading goal scorer, Townsend scored No. 2 and 3 on the season with the game winner coming in the 59
th minute.
