HUNTSVILLE — The Sam Houston volleyball team finished out the weekend with a sweep against Middle Tennessee at Johnson Coliseum on Friday.
The Bearkats (7-6) started CUSA play 2-0 thanks to a win Thursday against the Blue Raiders coupled with Friday's 25-18, 25-22, 29-27 victory.
It was Sam Houston all the way. In the first and second set had 13 kills in each set.
The Blue Raiders tried to make a comeback in the third, but the Kats capitalized in extra points to finish 29-27.
Michaela Panekova led the night with 15 kills, and Alyssa Fielder and Lylah Washington both added eight.
Sam Houston will hit the road to face UTEP on Friday and Saturday.
