Bearkats open two-match series with KSU

HUNTSVILLE— The Sam Houston volleyball squad is back at home to face Kennesaw State in a two-game series at Bernard G Johnson Coliseum beginning Friday.
The Kats (8-15, 0-10 CUSA) and the Owls (14-6, 8-2 CUSA) will face off at 6 p.m. on Halloween night and continue the series at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Both matches can be watched on ESPN+.
The Kats head into the weekend with Shaelin White leading the team in digs with an even 400. Chloe Monson continues to lead the team in kills with 329, and Rachelle Reed leads in blocks with 89.
The Bearkats played the Owls for the first time in program history last season. The two teams split last season's meetings with each earning a victory.
