HUNTSVILLE – Sam Houston moved to 4-0 in CUSA play on Thursday with a 50-38 win over WKU and will be looking to open league play with 5 wins in a row for the first time since 2019-20 on Saturday when it hosts Middle Tennessee.
Tipoff for the game is set for 1:00 p.m. and will air on ESPN+ with Matt Pedersen and Leah Vann on the call courtside.    Â

UNBEATEN KATS TO HOST BLUE RAIDERS
-Â The Kats scored just 50 points in the win over the Lady Toppers, the lowest scoring output in a Bearkat victory since a 50-44 win in Huntsville over Abilene Christian on February 15, 1983
- Sam Houston entered the year having only held an opponent under 40 points 7 times in program history with the last coming in 1988. But SHSU has now done it 4 times in 2025-26 after holding WKU to just 38 points on ThursdayÂ

- SHSU opened CUSA with road wins at LA Tech and Liberty, teams picked to finish 1 and 2 in the CUSA preseason poll
