Tennis drops Sunday match at Texas State

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State defeated Sam Houston 4-0 in a non-conference women's tennis dual match Sunday afternoon in the fourth contest for the Bearkats on their nine-match February travel schedule.Â
The Bobcats won the number one and three doubles sets to earn the doubles point then won the number one, three and six singles contest.Â
Next up for the Kat tennis squad are trips to Alcorn State, Southern Mississippi and Jackson State. Â
Sam Houston will face CUSA opponents at home in Huntsville in March and April as they host Louisiana Tech, Missouri State, NM State and Kennesaw State at the Chuck and Wanda Beckner Center.Â
