Named to the CAA All-Academic team as a sophomore after appearing in 32 games and starting in 22 … tied for third on the Phoenix in scoring with 11.7 points per game … was the recipient of the 2016-17 CAA Commissioner's Academic Award.
2015-16 Season
Swoope made a significant impact as a freshman at Elon, playing in all 32 games and averaging 22 minutes on the floor … was named the CAA Rookie of the Week in November 2015 after averaging 13 points in two games, including a 15-point effort against No. 24 Michigan … made 60 3-pointers for the year and was fifth on the team in scoring, averaging 9.1 points per contest and took home his first CAA Commissioner's Academic Award.
