Played in 30 games as a rookie, drawing five starts and averaging 15.6 minutes per contest … contributed 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while compiling 22 assists, nine steals and two blocked shots … shot 43.3 percent (45-for-104) from the floor with a 31.7 percent mark from 3-point range (13-for-41) … made first career start during the season-opening Armed Forces Classic win over No. 11 West Virginia (11/10) at Ramstein Air Base in Germany … played 20 minutes vs. the Mountaineers while added seven points, three rebounds and an assist but suffered a broken orbital bone during the game causing him to miss the Aggies’ next five contests … returned to action vs. UTRGV (11/30), playing nine minutes, scored four points... registered first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Northern Kentucky (12/19) … drew his second career start and fell just short of a second straight double-double against Buffalo (12/21), finishing with a season-high 21 points to go along with nine rebounds … named SEC Freshman of the Week honors on Dec. 26 after averaging 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds during the wins over Northern Kentucky and Buffalo.
