Cody Cipalla has joined head coach K. C. Keller’s football staff at Sam Houston State as staff assistant for defensive quality control.

An all-state safety at Northwestern High School in Albion, Pa., played for Keeler at the University of Delaware in 2007. He later served as a student assistant coach.

Cipalla is a 2013 graduate of Delaware. Following graduation, we served as defensive coordinator for head coach Barry Zehinder at Christiana High School.

“Cody is an outstanding young man with a strong work ethic,” Keeler said. “He will be a great asset to our program and our staff.”
