Weitz is in his first season with Sam Houston Athletics after joining the department in August of 2018.
He joins the Bearkats after most recently graduating with his Master's in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ole Miss in 2018. That came after he earned his Bachelor's in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville in 2015.
While a student at Louisville, he served for all four years as a marketing intern for the athletics department. Following graduation from UL, Weitz worked as a Property Assistant with Ole Miss IMG Sports Marketing from 2016-2018.
He also spent the summer of 2017 as a Digital Communications Intern at the Signal Group DC.
