Connolly joined the Sam Houston Sports Medicine Staff in August 2021, serving as the head football athletic trainer for the Bearkats.
She came to Huntsville after six seasons serving as the athletic trainer for the baseball team at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where she also served a year as an adjunct professor and even assisted in a scholarly presentation shown at the 2019 Southwest Athletic Training Association meeting in Arlington.
Prior to her time on the Texas Gulf Coast, Connolly spent two years in Lake Charles, La., completing her master's degree and working with the McNeese football and baseball teams.
She holds a bachelors degree in kinesiology (athletic training) from Fresno State (2013) and completed her graduate work at McNeese in health and human performance (exercise physiology) in 2015.
