2022-2023 Season
Carded a 76.08 scoring average over five events for the Bearkats as a freshman… recorded two top 25 finishes highlighted by a 14th-place finish at the Whispering Pines shootout … Moon recorded his season low with a 72 in the final two rounds at Oregon State Invitational.
Moon, who played at Temple High School, won the 2021 Legends Junior Tour Spring Preview firing 70-69. He also won the 2020 LJT Alamo Shootout with rounds of 68-75. He shot 147 for 36 holes at 2021 6A Region II to finish runner-up and qualify for the 2021 6A State High School Championship. He has a strong 2020 season taking ninth at 2020 All-State Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial with rounds of 75-74, fourth at 2020 LJT Lanny Wadkins Junior Championship firing 75-68, third at 2020 AJGA Stan Utley and Mid-America Youth Golf Foundation Junior All-Star with rounds of 69-73 and third at 2020 STPGA - Fredericksburg Open firing 68-71... also qualified for both the 74th U.S. Junior Amateur and the 122nd U.S. Amateur in the summer of 2022.
