Gonzales is the first ever-international signee from Peru. She joined the Bearkats as one of the most decorated youth athletes to come out of Peru. She has seen the medals grow with her success and from her Peruvian National Team's staff behind her. She had the honor to compete in Qatar as a "Friendly," earning a gold medal in singles at the Qatar International Open. In South America, Gonzales has excelled and medaled in several events including the CONSUBOL Youth Championships bronze in doubles, bronze medal in teams at the Iberoamerican Youth Championships, and lastly, silver in team, silver in trios and a bronze in doubles at the South American Youth Championships.
